Reading and Borrowing

Reading and loan services are regulated by each library rule which is available on dedicated web pages.

To find out the availability for loan or other information on the items, you need to use Unimore catalogue, BiblioMo (books and journals titles), and the discovery service OneClick (articles).

Reading 

On-site reading is generally available for all items (books, journals, CDs, …) in the Unimore libraries collections.
Study rooms are available in each library.

Borrowings

All books can be loaned with the exception of rare books or reference material,  i.e. dictionaries, encyclopedias, handbooks, which are for library use only.

Self-check machines are available in most libraries.
In general, students can borrow 3 books for 30 days, teachers 10 books for 90 days.

Loans renewals 

Loan renewals can be done online, using “Accedi” in BiblioMo, at the loans desk or by phone.
Renewals must be made before the loan expiry date and are available only if the item has not been reserved.

Books reservations

It is possible to place a reservation on a book that is borrowed by another user. The reservation lasts 5 days starting from the day the book is returned.
